Hi everybody!
I've searched internet forums everywhere and bought several different adapter/cable combos and I cannot get my GTX 770 4GB to output 4K@60hz on my Seiki SE42UGT tv. The TV is absolutely capable of the refresh rate and switched to HDMI 2.0 mode. (Though system thinks its only 20.5 inches and @1280x720, despite it being a 42 inch and running 3840x2160 @30hz)The problem has got to be my hardware/software config.

I'm running Yosemite 10.10.3 with the Nvidia 346.01.02f04 web drivers on a Gigabyte z77-ud5th mobo, Intel i7 3.5ghz, 32Gb ram and an EVGA GTX 660 2GB with the main gpu of a Zotac GTX 770 4GB.

Things I've tried: switching to Apple drivers. This is necessary as the web drivers seem to be unstable with after effects and causes huge glitches in GPU accelerated plugins.

Tried Insignia Display Port to HDMI adapter with HDMI 2.0 cable(s). 4K at 30hz only.

Bought Club3D certified Display Port 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 UHD adapter to Amazon certified HDMI 2.0 cable. 4K at 30hz only.

Do I need to be running El Capitan? Does that allow for some new driver combo that makes this whole thing work at 60hz? What am I missing?
Thanks!

I'd try to install the Pixel Clock Patch first, maybe your DP bandwidth is somehow limited. It shouldn't be, but it could be an issue in Yosemite.

If this doesn't work, I'd try to upgrade to El Capitan. The Nvidia Web Driver issues you've mentioned should be resolved there, and I hope it also resolves your 60 Hz problem.

Thanks, Fl0rian. I'll def try that as soon as I get back to my comp.

No. I've tried everything, but 30 hz is as high as I can get... I've been told that the 900 series Nvidia cards are capable, but my 960m on my laptop doesn't seem to output 60hz either (@4K). Maybe the TV manufacturer lied? The actual ports on the TV say "4K @ 60hz" by all of the HDMI ports, so I doubt they just use some software smoothing crap.
