I know the graphics card is kind of old, but it was on sale for about 50 US dollars after rebate. I'm also not a hardcore gamer, so the power is sufficient. What motherboard and processor do you guys suggest? I was thinking about getting an i5 2500k. Hopefully I will be able to build a hackintosh with these parts. Thanks for your help.

The 4850 can be extremely difficult to get working in OS X so be prepared. Sandy Bridge CPUs should be supported once Apple releases an update for the new MacBook Pro's.

I have the same case. It moves a lot of air and is perfect for keeping a workhorse cool.
