I successfully built my hackintosh over the past several days. It has been running great until tonight. The computer became so unresponsive that the only way for me to even restart was to hit the reset button on my computer. After a couple of reboots, I narrowed it down to being a problem when Photos.app is running.
OS: High Sierra 10.13.6
MB: ASUS ROG z370-e
CPU: i8700k
GPU: RX 580
RAM: 16 gig Crucial
HD: Samsung Evo 850 gig (boot drive), WD 4TB 7200 RPM drive (data)
I'm running video through HDMI to my 1080p monitor. Only KB/mouse connected right now. Any ideas? And, I'd put money on the problem being Photos.app.
