Long time in-between posts here but I ran across a guide to install Catalina on a socket 1156 board and from the way it looks the person who built it has not had issue with it and was able to successfully update to 10.15.4. I'm going to give it a go and see if I can get this machine up and running with Catalina.
One of the nVidia geForce 210 I had sitting made it's way into a Dell Optiplex 790 running Catalina. I think the other ended up biting the dust and I tossed it recently.
I will update this build thread with success if everything works!
