I get no audio after updating to 10.8.4
I read through the troubleshooting guide but didn't find anything that helped me.
I have deleted and reinstalled both the appleHDA.kext and HDAEnabler1.kext and reinstalled using Multibeast 5.5 using both ALC898 and ALC892. No luck. I've had a devil of a time getting my hackintosh up and running after updating it to 10.8.4 and this is the final fix before it is back to normal. I feel like it shouldn't be that difficult.
Thanks so much!
For reference:
I have a Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H Motherboard
I have an Nvidia 660Ti Graphics card
I have an Intel i5 3570K
*edit - I'll also point out I HAD audio working on 10.8.2 and haven't changed any hardware or bios settings since then. My speakers are in the green audio jack. When I go into system preferences there are no speakers or options listed under sound "Output". I've also tried to work through the troubleshooting guide only to find it was mostly incomprehensible. Like a maze with no exit. I think I have a very common mobo though so hopefully someone can offer me some useful hints or tips.
