Hi Moarfish, sorry for the delay, I was in travel.

Try to install using your HD3000 onboard graphic and install your display card back after successful ML installation.

I was tried with HD3000, the same problem, cant get the instalation screen.

Im return to install 10.8.0 and all ok. I was installed in other HD.

But, what I continue having problems is to upgrade my old instalation 10.7.5 to 10.8.3. I can't.
This is already an issue to do so. I've been able to make the upgrade in other MB as P5WDH deluxe, P8Z77 Deluxe, P6T Deluxe and other more. Now all were Asus. Do not think it's a Gigabyte problem, right?

thanks

Has anyone experienced odd ethernet issues once updating to 10.8.3? I find that I have to restart my computer often because even though I have an IP address, I can't connect to the internet. All of the other wired and wireless devices on my router still have internet access and when I'm booted into Windows I don't see this issue, but I have to restart OS X once or twice a day because it won't connect.

I use WDN4800 for this build so I did not check out the ethernet on 10.8.3.

Did you follow my step to upgrade from 10.8.0 to 10.8.3?
The OemSMBIOS.kext can cause the system failing to boot starting from 10.8.2

10.8.4 Update

1) Run Disk Permission repair under Disk Utility
2) Download and Run 10.8.4 Combo Updater, do not restart
3) Download and RUn Multibeast 5.3.1 and install the sound driver again as below
4) Restart
5) Run Disk Permission repair under Disk Utility

Hi Moarfish,

Were you able to do the 10.8.5 update? Thanks!

10.9 Mavericks Update

Cannot upgrade OS, Multibeast will "Installation Failed".
I need to start a fresh new OS install to success.

1. Download Mavericks, Create USB using Unibeast
2. Switch from ATI HD6870 to HD3000 graphics in the BIOS. Unplug the DVI monitor from HD6870 and plug it to the HD3000 DVI port
3. Boot from USB, Disk Utility Erase the old Mountain Lion boot drive.
4. Install Mavericks and boot from USB again, this time start Mavericks.
5. Multibeast Install, setting see screen shot.
6. iCloud not working as Ethernet is moved to EN1.
7. Shut Down Computer and Remove WiFi Card.
8. Boot Computer and delete /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/Networkinterfaces.plist
9. Reboot and open Network Utility Check that Ethernet is EN0 now.
10. Put back Wifi Card and boot again.
11. Plug back the DVI monitor to HD 6870.
12 Done.

I am trying to install Yosemite on it today.
Everything run smoothly until I install Multibeast on it. It won't boot again.
Finding solution at the moment.

UPDATE:
Success Installation with ACPIPlatform Rollback.
Without the rollback option in multibeast, it won't boot.

Successfully installed Yosmite with this settings:

Hello friend, I can not start the installation, with mavericks started with graphicsEnabler = no

If you get boot flags wrong they have no effect - graphicsEnabler = no is wrong.

It should be GraphicsEnabler=No
