Confused because a LOT information I want to run at the following Way:
1. Audio From the MotherBoard ports (I have 3 ports in the back and two at front)
2. Sound through the Gigabyte GTX 660 hdmi port

However, the system.log reads

Sound assertion in AppleHDAWidget at line 2175

over and over again. Now that VMware does not crash anymore, this is rather a cosmetic issue - but can you imagine any way to iron this out for good, too?

I have this identical situation with a Gigabyte P55M-UD2 board using the F11 DSDT and the Legacy version of the ALC888b driver from Multibeast 5.2.1

My standard stereo output works, but the mic terminal doesn't, and I haven't tested any of the surround outputs.
