Logitech C910 web cam: Picture Black

The upgrade went smoothly and everything that worked in 10.6.8 appears to be working in Lion with the exception of my Logitech C910 webcam. The video preview window appears in iChat but the picture is solid black. The camera worked in 10.6.8 and works when I boot into Windows on this machine. Any suggestions?

So, hold off a C910 purchase to be used in Lion for now?

I could not resolve the problem with Lion and I returned the webcam. I would not recommend the C910 at this time.

B910. Same problem. Starts with Photo Booth once out of five.
Tried USBBusFix=Yes and USBLegacyOff=Yes with no results.

side note:
Logitech C510 works perfect - FaceTime, Ichat, Skype, etc...
Very nice picture (i think all this programs support 720p of this webcam)

Disabling USB 3 controller in the BIOS solved the problem for me.

Work out of the box with my 2 hacks. No drivers. Just plug and play.
First tested with app "photo booth"
