Last bit for my build: a "silent-budget" PSU

The German test is giving your suggestion as the best one in its category. Thanks again for pointing to me.
(Google Translate is doing a good job on this translation, quite easy to understand the main info)

And it seems to fit my chosen casing:

Be Quiet E9 400W:
Dimensions without cable (L x W x D), (mm) 160 x 150 x 86

Weight incl. fixed cables (kg) 2.24 :eek: (never realized they were so heavy.)

Temjin TJ08
Limitation of PSU 160mm (recommended), 180mm (maximum)

I am falling on some of my old topics, that I never updated.

The recommendation from Mate was a good one.

I ended up with the Be Quiet Straight Power E9 400W.
It's been 13 months now and I never heard it.

I must say that it was overkill of power for my little HackMidi.

I did not need the GT640, because the integrated HD4000 is way sufficient.
I have one SSD and two HDD.

This week end I had a look on the power consumption.
With running all at 100%, I could not draw more than 70W !
From the plug. So the system was only taking 56W, that's very small.

Conclusion: the Be Quiet is very good quality and very silent at small load.

The only thing that I would do differently in a future build : take a modular for few more euros. To avoid having 10 cables, when I only use 2.
