I am getting a kernel panic which seems to be linked to AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement, this is a picuture off Google similiar to what I see. This problem happened after I created my Extra folder using Muti-Beast. Booting in any mode gives me the same kernel panic, how can I delete the files on my Extra folder or is there another way to fix it?

Fix

in post installation use multibeast and use the nullpowermangement kext

What is the AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement used for? and why nullpowermangement should be used instead?

reply

because the computer does not support powermangement , and the name tells you what the kext does -_- , and just use nullpowermangement

Perhaps, this could be clue for some of you:
  1. I had the same problem.
  2. But not from the beginning but after some time of succesfully running 1.8.2.
  3. I just turned my computer off in the evening and in the morning I had this problem.
  4. After all, I discovered that the problem was NOT in the OSX but in BIOS.
  5. I do not know which BIOS setting did it and how did that happen.
  6. But I just reloaded the optimized BIOS defaults and configured everything from scratch.
  7. And it just started to work again - i.e. without any change in the OSX itself.

mine is solved with using this null kext. :)

thx.
