Kernel Panic when booting in Snow Leopard DVD?

What's your FireWire brand, id?and what's DVD you try 10.6.0 or 10.6.3?

The install DVD Says 10.6

and firewire

You may have to buy the 10.6.3 retail install DVD. I actually had the 10.6 install DVD and I kept getting kernel panics when I tried to install OS X. I then went out and bought the 10.6.3 install DVD and everything worked just fine.

hmmm before i buy another disc could i restore the 10.6 disc on to a duallayer disc then slipstream 10.6.3?

There is no such thing as slipstream in OS X.
