Hi everyone,

Having some issues with MultiBeast. I've tried installing twice so far, both resulting in a kernel panic. After each failed attempt, I have reinstalled Lion and my entire old hard drive. The first time, I did not keep track of the options I chose. But, Here is what I selected on my second failed attempt:

User DSDT Install
System Utilities
Apple HDA Rollback
FakeSMC
USB 3.0 - NEC/Renesas and Etron
AppleRTC Patch for CMOS Reset
Lnx2Mac's RealtekRTL81xx Ethernet c0.0.90
Chimera v1.10.0 r1394
MacPro 5,1

As stated, this resulted in a kernel panic upon reboot. So, am I installing something I shouldn't be? Is there something I am missing?

Thanks for the help!

I usually check EasyBeast, and a Custom System Definition and finally the repair permissions.

Boot with -v and check what fails please :)

Can you post a picture of your kernel panic.

I'm sorry, I already re-installed Lion again so I can't.

I have fixed the kernel panic problem. I had to delete a certain kext in order for the system definition to work.

But, now I can't get audio working. Right now, I have these installed:

Apple HDA Rollback
Patched Apple HDA - ALC889
Unified Device Injector - ALC8xxHDA

Even with these installed, I can't seem to get audio. Help?

Nevermind, I just fixed the audio problem as well. I've learned that I should do a little more research before posting.... Sorry!

Hello, how did you fix the Kernel Panic? I get the same after using Multibeast.
