I'm considering building a small form factor workstation and I have a question about the JBTB1 thunderbolt add-on card connector on the MSI Mag B660M Mortar WiFi. Most B660M boards available have a JTBT1 add-on card connector rather than the Gigabyte 2xAIC connectors which I have on my current hackintosh which is a Z690 Aorus Ultra.
Does anyone know if it is possible to plug in a Gigabyte Alpine ridge thunderbolt card into the JTBT1 connector pins? The existing cable I have, THB-C, doesn't look like it would plug in as its a 5 pin but I could be mistaken.
Maybe I'm just being stupid thinking different brands would work together???
