You're better off using HDMI than VGA. Support for VGA in OS X is not good.

The patch is in the HD3000 config.plist files. It is clearly commented. It is also not recommended.

I belive you, but want to try, how it works.

I'd recommend not using it and removing VGA patch in Config or disable it just use HDMI it'll be more stable than VGA. There is no support in OS X for VGA. And even if there was I'd still use the HDMI than VGA. Analog output in 2016 is just useless it'll be better for you if you upgrade your monitor Rehabman will say the same.

Hi! I have the same problem with HDMI port on docking station with Sony Vaio VPC SE1V9R. HDMI on the laptop is ok, but on the docking station is not working. VGA on docking station is ok, USB is ok too, Ethernet is ok.
Can anybody help me with HDMI on docking station?
