Hello!

I'm considering making the switch to a hackintosh, since I acquired an old Macbook Pro and I'm in love with MacOS.
My main concern is that I'll have to go buy a completely new Mobo, CPU and RAM.

My current build is:
  • Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77 -I Deluxe
  • CPU: Intel I7-3770K
  • RAM: Kingston Hyper-X 16GB 2400mHz
  • GPU: ASUS GTX 970 OC2 Edition
Will this work? or do I have to buy a completely new system?

No, you should be good to go with that system. Though I'm not sure about the Wifi/Bluetooth module that comes with it; you might have to replace it if it isn't compatible with macOS (it's on a half MiniPCIe card) to get working Wifi.

Is the motherboard fine? Thats my biggest concern:)
