iMac stand on PC screen

Hello guys,

I had an idea last night.
I was thinking about mounting my current screen on a VESA Kit but I tought, why not mounting it on an iMac stand.
I searched around the web and found this :

My screen is 24".
Do you think that modifying the iMac stand is possible?
(I already have an iMac at home so please don't say me, just buy an iMac. I want to do it by myself)

This is a really good idea! Keep us updated on what you decide to do! I'd be willing to try it once I start my first hackintosh =]

Damn, the shipping to Belgium cost more than the whole item.

I got different screens but one is 18,5", one 19" and one 23,6".

Maybe the bigger can fit in the iMac case but I'm not even sure that this will fit. Thanks for you advice anyway
