Hi there!
First thing : all credits and many thanks to dremeljunkie, mactester57 and ersterhernd for all their inspiration and support here on this forum
i already had 1 imac g4 17" inverter which did not light up the screen and consuming only 6W (instead of 25w)... Next to that... i screwed up 1 working inverter by shorting the 5v en the ground alligators accidentally while testing ... With that one as well the screen does not light up anymore and consumes only 6W.. (Instead of 25w) Assuming that the other one previously had the same faith in a working iMac G4 somewhere with someone)
.... Is there any chance to repair these blown up inverters since they are extremely hard to find (and the imac G4 15" might work but does not fit in the 17" screen case due to a dfferent fysical design)
Thanks so much in advance
Greetings
