i7-4790K Overclocking Raijintek Triton Watercooling system ,Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1 GAMING

I have 3 questions to ask , so please be patient with me since i m not an expert ( not yet )

1- can i replace the corsair hydro 60 by the Raijintek Triton Watercooling system?
the gamers here consider it to be the best bet for OC CPUs. so i m wondering, will it be a good choice for my hackintoch dual boot ( i ll use also use window for some gaming) or is it possible to face some incompatibility issues?



2- about OC i have been told that the mobo i choose Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD3H, allow to make an OC, now i have some doubts about that, and i would like to know if OC is worth the try . Of course i also wondering what mobo i sould choose to make oc possible.



3- finally i choose a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1 GAMING GPU, since i m not convinced by the GTX X60 series, the reason of that choice is quite simple , i wanted a gpu capable to deliver good perfomance for some years , in BOTH Video editing and gaming . could you give me your opinion about that choice?

1 ) I did not know about this product. But yes you can replace the Corsair H60 with the Rajintek. Be sure to follow the mounting instructions for LGA 115x when assembling. That is a very interesting product as it is 'Open Loop'. i am not very keen on the H60 anyway as I had one that gave up on me after 6 months of use ... ever heard your fans at top speed when there is no water flow ... Benchmarks show the rajintek to be a very good performer to keep your CPU cool but a very poor performer for quiet running.

2) To overclock, you need a mobo that supports it. Z97 chipset enables the mobo to overclock. You also need a unlocked CPU, often referred to as a K cpu. i7-4790K is a overclockable cpu. You are set if you wish to do it.

3) GTX 970 is imo the sweet spot for gaming GPU. I don't do video rendering so I cannot give advice on that

Your answer are crystal clen i appreciate it.

So i assume that the mobo i ordered is a good fit for my 1st oc experience. Feel free to correct me if i mimisunderstoodI already knew for the intel k series...In the other hand i m not confortable with mobos yet.
So i m glad i did the right choice.

I ll wait for the some answers about the video editing and rendering with the gtx970.
