Hi !
thanks to this page i could configure an i3 hackintosh:

i3 / intel DP55WB / 4 Gb. ram / 9400 GT Nvidia Gforce with Snow Leopard 10.6 upgraded to 10.6.3 // iboot supported

The mother can reach 16 Gb. and i want to install 8 Gb. but the hackintosh doesn´t recognized more than 4 Gb.
Does anyone knows a fix for this ??

thanks .

i tried with both in 32 and 64 bit but didn´t work

are you booting from hard disk or still using iboot CD to boot the machine?

if you're using iboot thats one of the restrictions you'll find written into its files, its setup to be a 'get you in to run the installer and complete the post install requirements' type solution, not an optimized method of day to day booting.

We also tried with both, booting from hard disk with multibeast installed and with Cd iboot (the 6 Gb. shows in the profile but in about this mac doesn´t).
It seems like we can´t have a solution yet.

Hi people, still trying to solve the 4 Gb. limit issue. Does someone got more than 4 gB.over an i3 ?

Re: i can´t get more than 4 Gb. on an i7

I am having the same problem. Maybe its something obvious but I just am having a difficult time finding the answer in google. Can someone point out the solution to getting more than 4GB RAM on a P55-UD6 i7 8xx.

Thanks in advance.
