Done that too again, and as an encore the soundcard fixing too (fix permissions, rebuild cache with kext-wizard, restarts *2)

PS: Thanks for the interest/advice Rehabman!

Do you have bluetooth? Using a BT firmware uploader? If so, which one?

Download patchmatic: https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/os-x-maciasl-patchmatic/downloads/RehabMan-patchmatic-2015-0107.zip
Extract the 'patchmatic' binary from the ZIP. Copy it to /usr/bin, such that you have the binary at /usr/bin/patchmatic.

In terminal,
Code:
rm -R ~/Downloads/RehabMan
mkdir ~/Downloads/RehabMan
cd ~/Downloads/RehabMan
patchmatic -extract

Post contents of Downloads/RehabMan directory (as ZIP).

Also, post ioreg: http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/58368-guide-how-make-copy-ioreg.html. Please, use the IORegistryExplorer v2.1 attached to the post! DO NOT reply with an ioreg from any other version of IORegistryExplorer.app.

And output from:
Code:
kextstat|grep -y acpiplat
kextstat|grep -y appleintelcpu

Yes I do have, but no, not aware of any BT firmware loader. The BT have been patching/flakey to non-existant, so I got used to using a usb plug whenever I wanted to use my Magic Mouse.

Code:
patchmatic -extract

Also, post ioreg

Code:
kextstat|grep -y acpiplat
kextstat|grep -y appleintelcpu

See attached zip

Test without the USB BT device.

All tests done during this thread's communication, was without the USB BT dongle. I can't even remember when last I used that dongle.

The ioreg shows a USB BT device connected. Yet you say you're not using the BT that would be on the WiFi PCB. I assumed you had disabled that device by taping the pins that enable it.

If you're leaving the device active, you must have a firmware uploader. Since it is likely AR3011, use IOath3kfrmwr.kext: https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Atheros-3k-Firmware

If you plan to use a USB BT dongle, you must disable the AR3011 on the WiFi card by taping the pins.

Please forgive me me that I didn't thanked you before RehabMan!

But Now I have to, as I had to go through the same (procedures) with Yosemite (10.10.5) I recently installed (just before El Capitan's release :O ) and I was bumping in the long sleep restores/boot ups again (It appeared to be sleeping/waiting right after IOAPIC message, before the CPU sensors messages are printing during a verbose boot).

Glad I could help...
