Motherboard
ASROCK H110-G/M.2
CPU
i7-6700K
Graphics
HD 530
My surface : Intel Core i7-4650U, 8gb Ram, Intel HD Graphics 5000, Realtek High Definition Audio
Installed Sierra 10.12.4

I use the latest version of VoodooHDA.kext and VoodooHDA.prefPanel

Audio (Sound out put and input ) are very unstable: I usually lost Audio. Install VoodooHDA.kext again and restart -> solve problem. However, if I just turn off/restart, I again lost Audio.

How to solve the problem?
Thank you so much and I am extremely happy that my surface is running 10.12.4 now.

probably best to try and use Mirone's Audio Patcher:

Hi, I use AppleHDA Patch-> Show Jarvis, and I got this. It seems something wrong?

Hardware info:

Found "Device (HDEF)" in DSDT-1.aml
Found property "layout-id" in DSDT-1.aml
Found another "Device (HDEF)" in DSDT.aml, does not make sense to me. Should be only one!
Found another property "layout-id" in DSDT.aml, mmmh, Should be only one under "Device (HDEF)", or at least also under "Device (HDAU)", please ensure that!
Found "Device (B0D3)" in SSDT-4.aml, you should rename it as "Device (HDAU)" for a working audio!
Found 2 occurennces of "layout-id" in ioreg, not sure what's will be for HDEF..
Found unsupported "layout-id = 12" in ioreg, will not work using Mirone's patches!!!
Found more than one "Device (HDAU/B0D3)" inside your ACPI tables. Please remove those excessive!

AppleHDA Patcher.app only supports (if patched by Mirone):
layout-id 3 for laptop's,
layout-id 5 for Desktop's with 3 connectors (pink, green and blue),
layout-id 7 for Desktop's with 5/6 connectors (gray, black, orange, pink, green and blue),
layout-id 9 for Desktop's with 5/6 connectors (gray, black, orange, pink, green, blue, CodecAddress:2)

aDummyHDA.kext works only is /System/Library/Extensions.
Laptop's may be need the provided ACPI Patch such system_IRQ.txt to be functional.
HDAEnabler.kext maybe usefull if you don't want to edit your ACPI table or the Clover's config,
or the org.Chameleon.Boot.plist.
CodecCommander.kext is usefull in the case you have no sound after waking from sleep.

Generated kexts should be installed in a proper way, repairing its permissions and rebuilding the cache.

you need to upload problem reporting files here

https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.164990/

or start again with fresh dsdt and ssdt's

Hi, it is too complicated so that after I run AppleHDA Patch, got 3 or 5 *.kext, I install all of them Using Kext Utility. I also copy all of them into EFI Clover Kext folder. Restart and Sound works. It is much better than VooDooHDA. However, no microphone. I don't now why, but I don't need microphone. It is ok. Refresh dsdt, ssdt are too difficult for me.

Thanks

Your patched AppleHDA XML (layout/pinconfig/pathmaps) are probably not coded for your mic.
