How Long Have You Been Using OS X?

The public Beta... way back when... seems like forever ago... i have tried using OS9 and OS7 a couple of times recently... man it is sooooo weird!

10.4.5 on my Original 2005 PPC 1.25 GHz Mac Mini. Had a whopping 32mb of video ram
via discrete graphics and 512mb of ram on a single Dimm. Pretty hefty specs
back in those days.

Learned how to use a computer on OS 9, my school at the time upgraded to 10.2, which most of the Macs are still running, since they've all been repurposed to simply closed network web browsing machines for the school's Library Catalog. Picked up my first Intel in 2009 with Leopard installed. Still kicking.

First had contact with OS X at 10.4 version, back in 2004 after the first hackintosh was available. Loved it, bought several real macs afterwards and just now got back to hackintosh as there is no mac with a decent GPU out there.

Since the initial Darwin source code CDs were released and the 10.0 beta. Ran them on an upgraded dual processor PowerMacintosh 8500 with the help of XPostFacto. Also used that machine to run and develop BeOS software.
First Mac was a Centris 610 with 8 MB of RAM and 230 MB of storage running via the 20 MHZ 68040LC (no FPU) and System 7.1. I still have that machine but its been upgraded with a Quadra 610 logic board running a 40 MHZ 68040.
