I don't understand much about Hackintosh in general, even this is my first installation. The audio works normally, however I would like to use the audio input on the front panel. Thank you for your attention

Questions:
  1. Have you enabled the Azalia Audio option in your bios?
    • Screenshot 2023-10-15 at 22.27.23.png Bios page showing Azalia option,
    • Click this option for additional bios settings that are Audio related.
  2. Have you connected the cases audio cable serving the front Audio ports to your motherboard?

    • The front audio connection is highlighted in the bottom Left corner of motherboard image above.
  3. Have you used the correct connector, most cases have two connector blocks at the end of the front audio cable, especially older cases.
    • One for legacy audio and the other for Digital audio.
    • Normally I would say you need to use the one for Digital audio, but your X99 dual CPU system isn't normal so you may need to try both.
  4. Have you installed the latest version of AppleALC.kext to your OpenCore /EFI/OC/Kexts folder?
  5. Have you enabled the kext in the Kernel > Add section of the config.plist?
  6. Do you know which Realtek Audio Codec your system uses?
  7. Do you know which layout-id works with your system?
  8. Have you added a layout-id for your audio codec to either the DeviceProperties or Boot Argument sections of your config.plist.
Check these matters out, see what you find and what changes are required.
