High end animation / video editing powerhouse needed

High end animation / video editing system needed

I could use some help and advice in building a system for a professional situation. The goal is to build the fastest, most powerful AND stable system to be used for high end computer animation, video editing etc. It also must be able to run Yosemite OSX.

If money was not a factor, what would be the ideal shopping list to build a beast of a machine?

Which animation/video editing software are you going to be using for said "powerhouse"?

Complex animation in Maya, Cinema 4D, Autodesk Flare, and lots of editing 4k material.

Before you begin you should find out which graphics architecture (AMD or Nvidia) accelerates those apps best. For instance; on OS X AMD cards provide much better acceleration for Final Cut Pro work.

AMD is the recommended card.
