Hide specific update that doesn't want to install

I'm on Mavericks and there's this specific update that just won't install. Is there any way to hide it for good?

This has been addressed many times before - Please use the forum Search tool.

Right click the update and choose 'Hide'

There is a Terminal command to do it too (Search).

You can change your SMBIOS boot ROM version to one that is after the update.
