When I had to reformat and reinstall mountain lion on my hackintosh due to big problems I was no longer able to sign into app store or iCloud because I received this message every time.

"Unable to sign in because of a problem communicating with iCloud.
Try signing in again."

I really need this working again, I am very frustrated with this issue as everything else seems to be working perfectly.

Try this:

1. Open System Preferences
2. Click on Network
3. Use the little MINUS sign to delete all of the network connections
4. Navigate to ~Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration
5. Delete NetworkInterfaces.plist
6. Empty the Trash
7. Repair Permissions (use Kext Wizard)
8. Restart
9. Open System Preferences
10. Click the little PLUS sign
11. Click the drop down box and select "Ethernet"
12. Click "Create"
13. Click "Apply"
14. Now you can open the App Store app and successfully sign in.
15. Then, (If your machine has Wi-Fi) go to the next step
16. Click the little PLUS sign
17. Click the drop down box and select "Wi-Fi"
18. Click "Create"
19. Click "Apply"

Tried everything kext wizard since I didn't know where to download it. I searched around but If you a link I can go to that would be very helpful. I used disk utility to repair disk permissions, i guess that's not right but If you have a link to where I can download kext wizard I can try all your steps as mentioned.

Thank you for your response!

this is just a try and error. Try the following:
-use MultiBeast with just one single option selected, EASYBEAST.
-REBOOT/RESTART

SEE IF works.

If YES, congratulations. Then reconfig your MB as usual.
If No, I'm sorry.

Please, reply the results.

Good luck!

Hi, Thank you everyone that wrote on this post.
I tried the delete and Repair Permissions (using Kext Wizard) method that was written above.
I also tried installing easy beast using multibeast and unfortunately found the kernel panic screen, which meant i had to boot into safe mode and remove the extra folder and reinstall all the drivers/kexts again.

Still no sucess unfortunately.
