I Know this has been discussed on these forums and others trillions of times but my ethernet is still not working. My real goal is to get Mac app store working, I have a wireless adaptor that I could use instead of the ethernet cable. I installed lion 7.2 and it went smoothly, installed voodoo audio, graphics enabler, chimera, fakesmc, but I did not install networking anything.
Now onto what I have tried.
change the plist in extra/ folder several times, Pciroot=0, pciroot=1,pcirootuid=1,pcirootuid=0.
I tried Multibeast realtek driver, adding ethernet hex to <key>device-properties</key>
Combining ethernet hex and my graphics card hex (nVidia GeForce 260 GTX) Nothing.
So I thought I would try and see if someone is not to tired of this question and help me out. Please.
Maybe I should point out that I get the "your device could not be verified"
