What happens with -v nv_disable=1 maxmem=4096 GraphicsEnabler=No

You are getting a runtime error in the NVRAM loading according to the KP.

Try with -v -x nv_disable=1

If that doesn't work, try a different GPU. You can get an 8800GT or 8800GS for less than US$50
