HD 5770 recognized as HD 5000

Hi,

I Have a Sapphire HD 5770 but in OSX 10.8.2 (12C60)
It is recognized as a ATI Radeon HD 5000 1024 MB

I have some apps that crash what did not crash before and think it is because of this.

Graphics Enabler = Yes
SMBios = MacPro5,1

How can I fix this

What gives you: ioreg | grep ATY in terminal ?
Try SMBIOS= MacPro 3.1

I have Sapphire HD 5770 and have Graphics Enabler = Yes but the SMBios = MacPro3,1 and the card is reported correctly.

MacPro3.1 or 5.1 doesn't make a difference.

[Update]

I had some Device Properties in org.chameleon.Boot.plist
Delete that and put Graphics Enabler on without additional rules and it is working again!
