i have got myself a mac osx mavericks through virtual machine because i don't have a real mac i borrowed my cousins for lion. after downloading i started creating a Unibeast flashdrive and i think that it was making it correctly because when i tried to create it with mountain lion it was done in like 20sec but this time it is taking longer.
Thanks for the info about mavericks in earlier post.

It is best to create your USB on real hardware, not in a VM. There is evidence to suggest your USB was not created correctly.

hey man i created unibeast for mavericks and my computer turns on with unibeast but when i try to install it it just dont go to installer i tried "-x" and "-v" but it doesnt work.

Can't help without detailed information about the failure. Boot "-v" and post screen shot of where it stops...

Hackintosh On Samsung Series 3 15.6" NP300E5C-A07US

I can help!!!!!!!!

I have the same laptop, except with an extra 2 GB Hynix inserted. (6 GB total)

OS install:
BIOS at CSM.
I recommend Mavericks to install, but it needs "-v GraphicsEnabler=No".

MultiBeast and kext:
Wi-Fi needs a custom kext. So does multigesture touchpad and sleep. Use Battery Lion.kext on www.osx86.net.
Choose No-DSDT, deselect 3rd Party SATA, select Intel Graphics, select VoodooHDA 2.8.4, Chimera, deselect boot signature or remove them yourself, choose MacBookPro8,2 and then build.

Can anyone help me?

I have the same computer as jpatel123 and ExplicitNuM5, and I'm having trouble installing SL 10.6.3 using iboot legacy. The system is giving me Kernel Panics, see:

Do you think you can tell me exactly what have you done? I need a detailed description 'cause I'm not a computer expert.

Thanks.

You can implement dual boot on the same HDD if you wish. Obviously, what you do on one HDD (installing OS X) will not affect the other.
