Look, I have ApplePS2Controller.kext && ApplePS2ElanTouchpad.kext in EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.9 and VoodooPS2Controller.kext in S/L/E. Just keyboard doesn't work without Voodoo in S/L/E, but it have to work without VoodooPS2Controller according to first post.

It is not valid to mix different versions of PS2 like that. Perhaps to make ApplePS2Controller.kext work, you need the companion AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext.

You should read the documentation for your ELAN kext.

Keyboard doesn't work even with AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext.

Hello RehabMan! Can You help with one issue please ?) I have problem with my battery indicator. It shows me 0% of battery charge and I don't know why. Just I tried to use ACPIBatteryManager.kext && Voodoobattery.kext and it doesn't work. I tried to follow yours post (http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-...de-how-patch-dsdt-working-battery-status.html) and I didn't find EmbeddedControl in my DSDT. I'm using DSDT for HP ProBook 4030s and it works perfectly except battery status.

You cannot use a DSDT from an HP Probook on your Lenovo. Use/patch your own DSDT.

Hello, RehabMan ! I did a dump of my system by pressing F4 in Clover and I took Lenovo DSDT from "original" folder (EFI/Clover/ACPI/original). Now my battery indicator finally works with the other features, but I can't fix my graphics and brightness, 'cause it's don't work. What I have to do ? My HD3000 works, but without this patch: https://github.com/RehabMan/Laptop-DSDT-Patch/blob/master/graphics/graphics_Rename-GFX0.txt , and brightness still don't work

See config.plist files here: https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Clover-Laptop-Config

HD3000/HD4000 Brightness Fix:
DSDT Patches from here: https://github.com/RehabMan/Laptop-DSDT-Patch

Apply:
"Rename GFX0 to IGPU"
"Brightness Fix (HD3000/HD4000)"
- rename patch must be done first and to all DSDT/SSDT that contain references to GFX0 that you're including in your final SSDT set
- Brightness patch must be done to the DSDT or SSDT that contains the definition for Device GFX0 (search for 'Device (GFX0)'
- Place DSDT and SSDT (if necessary) into a place where the bootloader will load them. For Clover, EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched (DSDT.aml, SSDT-x.aml where 'x' is a number). For Chameleon, /Extra/ssdt.aml, /Exra/ssdt-1.aml, /Extra/ssdt-2.aml, etc.

@themaskofwraith

First I just wanted to say thanks for creating the Mavericks guide for the Lenovo G580. I have a G580 and I bought a cheap AR9285 wifi card for it (since you say this one works)

Only problem is my BIOS apparently has a whitelist and I get a 104 unsupported wifi device message as soon as I turn the laptop on. Do you know of any easy way (without using those complicated BIOS mods) to get it working?

Thank you

Check your service manual to see which WiFi cards are allowed.
