in the guide are supported wifi card:

WIFI+BT: AR5B195 (not recommended), Broadcom 43225HMB/4352HMB (better OS X feature support)

i have taken this card from an old notebook HP but it is AR5B95....it appears similar to AR5B195....let me know

There is a BIOS WiFi whitelist on your 6-series laptop. Must use the recommended card for your laptop.

Read post #1. Carefully.

Read post #1, "Problem Reporting".

I shall look at it tomorrow. I'm currently away from home atm and have not got the laptop with me. I'll be back home in the morning.

No need to reply before you have the data.

What happens when you attempt to resume from sleep by pressing the power button?
Nothing happens. My 4530s has a blinking power button, this 840 machine does not behave that way. It is stuck somehow and the fan is running.
I wonder if it has something to do with the serial port you didn't disable.
I don't see a serial port in the bios settings. Where would I disable that?

And thanks

Is the USB setup with SSDT-USB-6x60.aml ok?

Yes, it only needs some small tweek I think. All usb ports and BT work well even after sleep.
But the smartcard reader is not present if I boot with the usb customization file but all other things are ok.
If I boot without it the smartcard reader is show, usb ports working, but BT not working after sleep.
I will post ioreg files with both cases at the weekend.

I have the BCM94352Z card and bluetooth is a pain in the ass. After a cold start of the laptop I need to start windows first, because otherwise mac cannot activate the bluetooth module correctly. When windows was first started, then the module works fine.
Problem occurs here aswell: http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-el-capitan-on-the-intel-skylake-nuc.183839/
Code:
Has issues:
Bluetooth. Driver loads but doesn't pair, probably due to requiring firmware. If you dual boot, you may get it fully working by configuring Bluetooth in Windows and then rebooting to OS X without unplugging the machine. See this post.

Is this workaround still valid?

Thanks.. I will add a note in the FAQ.
But where i can read about it? It is not in the following link. https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-BrcmPatchRAM

Thanks!

What is APExtFramebuffer.kext?

Make sure you rebuild cache per post #1, "Known Problems", "Audio".

If AppleHDA.kext does not show in the kextcache output, it will not work (must rebuild cache soon after booting without caches).

Just a question, other people with the same system (Probook 450 G2) have the same problem, please read #2523 and
#2524. Could it be a bug in 450 G2 system?

Thanks

Does Windows show a blinking power LED during sleep? If so, then your problem is entering sleep, not waking.

Make sure you disabled hibernation per guide.

For you to investigate. I don't have your computer.

Read post #1, "Problem Reporting". Check system.log also for BrcmPatchRAM logs.
