WiFi requirements seem to be crystal clear in post #1.

What PCIe SSD do you have in the laptop?

Post #1 does clearly state that an aftermarket card was used, however in the notes in the same post it states that if you don't have that card to remove some kexts, does that mean it will work on the stock killer card?

As for the SSD I have, it's the one that came with the laptop. Umm, in device manager it's listed as NVMe PC300 NVMe SK hy.

No need to remove any kexts... Kexts that are for hardware you don't have simply will not load.
You can read about compatible WiFi in the FAQ.

I would tend to guess your stock WiFi is not supported (very few devices are).

It is my understanding that the Hynix device is not compatible with Pike's NVMe patches.

yep, it was Drop OEM _DSM that I had set to true, doing just DropOem fixed my problem. Completely separate issue, I was able to finally fix restarting by editing the reset address and reset value after looking into clover ACPI patches. Now I have a new weird issue: any software updates that require a restart start to download (or perhaps just the UI Loads, apple logo with bar underneath) and then the computer restarts. Is there something I must do?

SMBIOS truncation?

Attach ioreg as ZIP: http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/58368-guide-how-make-copy-ioreg.html. Please, use the IORegistryExplorer v2.1 attached to the post! DO NOT reply with an ioreg from any other version of IORegistryExplorer.app.

Perhaps an SMBIOS truncation - the iMac7,1 never worked for me but now that I have 90% of the system working, I'll try making it work. Here's my IOReg too.

Definitely caused by SMBIOS truncation. Look at your ioreg and you find 'MacBookPro1' instead of what you likely specified... MacBookPro11,1 or MacBookPro11,2.

Can someone, with the same laptop specs as me, post their CLOVER folder? For reference, I'm still using the stock DW1820A WiFi Card.

Technically OS X should be providing better battery life, however it has almost 4x increased power consumption even though its reaching and staying at lower frequencies.

Any ideas?

I think I may have found an explanation, have a look here: https://github.com/damige/linux-nvme
They say that NVME power saving reduces consumption by 1.5W.
Can someone more knowledgeable chime in?

Edit:
We are dealing with the matter here, and it may not be restricted to XPS machines: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/unaccountable-power-consumption-xps-13-9350.210487/#post-1407773

How can I patch ssdt when I dont have wifi to add the github?
edit: duh, use the vm

This is the exact dilemma I'm having--trying to use syscl's deploy.sh, but have no wifi. What is vm?
