Run the OS X installer without erasing the target partition and all your system kexts will be restored.

I installed the AppleALC.kext and it won't work i installed it in the EFI folder as people are telling me to do. (Not Naming the forum because I'm not sure if its bannable because they make distros also *Im not using a Distro*)

I followed this but it doesn't allow me to boot after.

I dont know if this is required this is what the forum said. Note that Skylake systems may need the HDA ACPI device to be renamed to HDEF.

How do you do that and could that be the issue?
