Hi Everyone,
First thanks everyone for making this such a good site. A lot of part time effort goes into this, and guys like me appreciate everyone taking the time to post these technical details!
I've been reading and searching the buyers lists since February, and finally started to order stuff. Christmas in July!!!
I've gone back and fourth so many times. So I've started to order parts, cases, PW supplies, drives and just trying to settle on the final MB and GPU.
I've backed off the X99 builds and since this is my first hackintosh (been building PC since the 486 days, but first time I've tried OS-X on one. I would really like something I think I can get OS-X with has few problems has possible. I'm pretty sure either board will work and is on the buyers guide. However at the last second the new TI GPUs came out. Since they are both new, I don't think anyones had much time with them, so neither one of them is on the buyers guide.
I need a push on my build. I have to get off this fence I've been on for months.
I've settled either on the following:
Gigabyte 980ti

Gigabyte Gaming GT. (Why isn't the G1 on the list, is this because of the SoundBlaster Quad?)

Asus 20th Gold

Asus Deluxe z97

From Nvida page the drivers seem to be very similar between the GTX 980 and the GTX 980ti. It looks like the same card just more memory, but this could be a bad assumption on my part.
I hope I'm not going down the wrong road. I think I would be able to get the ASUS Gold to work, and my buddy just got that card and it is one very nice card. The Ti, I really don't know much about because its so new. I want to say it would be very similar.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks again Stork and to the many other members for your work.
