so if ur ok with just 2 speakers these are fine right? can the hdmi do 7.1 audio out too then? there are those HDMI to DVI converter cables but i dont think they can do the audio portion though,

btw, are those usb audio cards plug and play? can they work off a usb hub? bc i know for some mobos having the keyboard and mouse on a hub will cause problems

Your best bet is to just buy a Z77 motherboard with Realtek audio and Realtek or Intel Ethernet. You WILL have problems with VIA audio. Kernel panics, weird audio glitches, the like.

I need a microATX, which do you recommend of Z77?

I also need mATX and will buy Z77M-D3H or Z77MX-D3H. I have an external audio card and the best way for VIA chip is disable it in bios and use the separate sound
