Do you have any personal experience with the intel Lan Chip? I've always used Realtek with very good results.
 
Well, as you can see I have a Z77X-UD5H board and I'm using the Intel LAN on it and so far so good. Intel's NIC's should be a lot better than Realtek, but for most "home users" there's really very little difference.
