Getting sound to work on a GA-z68XP-UD3

I can't get the sound to work I have Realtek ALC889, and I have install the drivers from MB and still no sound.

Make a back up of your original. And install this using KextBeast found here KextBeast

How are you testing for sound? Line out? digital out? Tv volume?

Take a look at the link and download for Alc889. Maybe this will help you. I have ALC889 working on line out and also digital. Are you using a DSDT/BIOS or UEFI/no DSDT. There are two selections in MultiBeast for Audio.
