Geekbench in OSX 1/2 of Windows score

Any idea why my system reports a 6k in OSX and 12k in Windows?

Core i7 2600k
Z77-DS3H
16gb

I'm guessing I've done something wrong. Clean install of both OSes.

I'd install the FakeSMC stuff and HWMonitor from Multibeast too, it's very handy to see the multiplier and core temperatures in the menu bar.

Weird. For kicks, I loaded "optimized defaults" in the BIOS and rebooted. I'm now scoring 12k in OSX. Gonna reboot and see what I get in Windows.

Now the OSX score is higher than Windows...as it should be!
