GA-Z77UD5H: Lucid MVP in OS X? ACD on display port?

Hello Everyone,

I am contemplating getting the GA-Z77-UD5H board for an upgrade, but have two questions:

1. Does Lucid Virtu MVP work in OS X?
I mean plugging the monitor into the motherboard's display port, instead of the GPU, and letting MVP to choose which graphics card (on-board or discrete) to use.

2. Does the display port on UD5H work with Apple Cinema Display 27''?
I know I will need a display port to mini-display port adaptor. Will I get the 2560x1440 resolution both in OS X and windows 7?
