GA-Z68x-UD7-b3 motherboard question

Hi all,

I have setup Mountain lion on the above motherboard and have most things working. I do have one question hopefully someone can help with.

I was wondering how to get the optical port running for sound. My computer is connected to a home theatre system via optic fibre and all mountain lion seems to detect is the logitec head set and send sound to the head set and not the home theatre speakers.

Anyone got the optical port to run on their build?
