Hello everyone, I'm currently trying to install Mountain Lion (10.8) in my new build, but I couldn't get to the installation screen.

I've tried -v -f -x npci pcirootuid in all orders, but all I get is a Kernel Panic that says
"unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\"

FYI my specs are:
Intel Xeon E5 2687W
GA X79 UD5 (F10 bios)
Power colour HD 6870
Only inserted a single 4gb ddr3 1333 ram

It's not a graphics card problem as I've used it before in another hack and it works OOB.
Please kindly help me, thanks!

It is a graphics problem... Do a search for ML and 6870

Oh I thought it isn't because it worked perfectly in 10.6
How do I solve it? I got the same KP with GE=No.

The search box is Top Right

I know but please help me this one time as I cant even install ML,
so I can't do anything with kexts or stuff like that.

I now swapped the graphics card with a 5570 which is supposed to work, but I'm still in the same situation.
Anone know why? Thanks
