Board is new, all ports work fine with any other OS (Linux, Windows, etc). I can boot off a CD just fine from that as I was doing that part until I could boot from the OSX drive. That was the really odd part. DVD drive was in port 5, Tony's DVD would boot, I could then select the hard drive to boot and the system worked fine. I then ran the multibeast installer and then could boot off the hard drive.

I should go back to that...because I know on the white port the DVD would show after the OS but once I put it on a blue port I don't think it ever showed the DVD like it did its job its done and gone.

Yes, but are you using a DSDT file or not? How do you make everything work? Did you run the EasyBeast or did you select the various bits yourself?

I used the multibeast as I put in one of them (I thought). I selected the exact one for the P55 UD4P which according to some resolved everything but not the white/blue port issue.
