Front panel question, wont be using firewire, do i need ground for power button?

A question regarding the front panel cable..

i wont be using firewire... however it is noted in the diagram for the front panel that GROUND for the Power button is not needed as long as USB and firewire are used... if i dont use firewire, will i need to add a ground to the power button? if so, where do i connect the ground for the power button?

So, just being a bit of **** to start. If you read and search and read some more. Everything WOULD be revealed.

But moving on. If I remember correctly you need to have the Firewire ground connected as this is also the ground for the Power switch and led on the front panel board. However, no harm in just connecting usb ground and the power switch ground and see if you get an open or closed circuit. Obviously if button is depressed and it is open, you need firewire ground.
