Fresh Install Yosemite - Slow UI and SSD Performance

Ref internal graphics capability
- I tried disabling it, ironically it would freeze following login, but would work fine if I left it enabled in BIOS. Very strange, so I just keep it on now.

Ref the 5 second problem, I'll look into it this weekend, I'm out of town so I cant do any tinkering until then.

Ref Adobe CS6 or CC
- I guess there's just no good solution right now?

** New question, is it safe to update to UEFI? It says its a beta bios reference here:
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3892#bios

I'll try again Sunday night when I'm back home to tinker. Thanks.

No dice on the slow performance, nothing to fix it.

5 second error is on the backburner cause it doesn't really affect performance.

Deep sleep is an issue, because even though I eliminate sleep, the computer still freezes after 6 hours of zero use. The screen saver freezes and I'm unable to unlock.

This is sad panda.

Hey,

New update. So I've done a complete BIOS update to UEFI bios, and a fresh Yosemite install.

Here are the new problems:
1. Random freezes that would have even the beach ball freeze up;
2. Adobe CS6 refuses to install;
3. Adobe CC installs, but 50% of the time it will freeze the machine when the program boots up.

Any thoughts on any of these problems?

The old problems have been resolved, SSD speeds are great, no 5 second error on boot up, very quick UI.

Thoughts?

5 second error started as soon as I add a drive for windows
unplugged Win drive and error stopped
plugged in windows drive and first boot hang but fine after that but still have 5 second error

May be helpful in finding a fix
