Thank You very much!

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad E550 with a i3 cpu, HD 4400 mobile gfx.. Do i just use clover to inject the fakePCIID for the Hd 4400 mobile? Cant seem to get it to work correctly.

Hey, can someone provide me some personalized help on this? I've still got mine saying I have 4mb of vram.

I have an Intel HD 4200, and I've tried basically all the ig-platform-ids mentioned in this topic, but can't seem to get mine working. I get a black screen when I try starting up then I'm forced to block both the FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext. I've even tried patching via DSDT (as I did with the battery (and had success!)) but that did not work either.

Thanks.

No laptop in your profile...

Please provide complete details in your profile/signature
(Profile/Settings link in upper right corner of this site)

Mobo: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
Mobo: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Note: When specifying your bootloader, if using Clover legacy, please be sure to specify "Clover legacy"). Specifying "Clover" will be assumed as "Clover UEFI"

Hey man,

I'm sorry, and I wish I could add them to my profile but the specs I have do not match! Is this a problem? The hackintosh is working completely 100% it's just that the choppy animations can be a little frustrating.

I'm not sure exactly what the motherboard is, as it does not say it. I know that I have a haswell processor. The laptop model is Lenovo Yoga 2 11" (Not pro, however I noticed a lot of talk about the 2 pro on here.)

Mobo: ???? (Clover)
CPU: i5-4202Y @ 1.6GHz
Graphics: HD4200, 1366x768

Hey, I'm at work right now so I'm not able to send in that stuff, but:

Do I need IntelHD5000 kext? I noticed you mentioned it in your guide for HD 4200/4400/4600. I do not have this kext nor do I know where to find it but it seems I might need it?

Thanks for your time.

No such thing as IntelHD5000.kext. But there is AppleIntelHD5000Graphics.kext. It is installed by the OS X installer and implements QE for Haswell graphics.

Do not delete kexts.
