Hi Guys,

Im nearly ready to pull the trigger here and order parts for my first hackintosh.

Corsair 650W PSU

Seagate 1TB HDD
TP Link Wireless Adapter
Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H MotherBoard
Corsair 16GB RAM
i7 3770K CPU
nVidia Gefore Quadro FX 1400 (maybe, just have this lying around, may upgrade later.)
Power Mac G5 Case

How does that look?

Was wondering about a few things. Would I be ok to go with the 600W Corsair instead of the 650W? (I know the 650 is more than I need, but I may upgrade in the future. I worked out my wattage requirements (including extra HDDs / SSDs i havent got the money for right now) to be about 370W.

What sort of cables do i need to buy to hook everything up internally? or do most of the cables come bundled with the parts?

Hello,
Looks Good So Far!

I would go for the 650w, Just for that bit of head room

All your wires should come with your parts

Good Luck! :)

+1 on the 650W - depends on how many HDDs you plan to add. You might want to jump over to the workshop forum and check out some of the G5 case mods other members have posted http://www.tonymacx86.com/case-mods/
