FakeSMC PlugIns KP on ML 10.8.2
I currently have my hackintosh running without any hiccups ...sorta. The UEFI BIOS did wonders but still would like to tweak a few things until I am satisfied.
Everything works as it should except sleep and FakeSMC PlugIns. After doing some research on the forum I found posts relating to get sleep to work with a DSDT, but I have a UFEI BIOS so can I use a DSDT without messing up the system?
I wanted to overclock my processor and use iStat to monitor the CPU temperature. Unfortunately, when I go to install the FakeSMC PlugIns via Multibeast 5.0.2 my system freezes and I am forced to power down. When booting I get a KP and cant enter safe mode nor single user. This leaves me with doing a fresh install. Luckily I backed up my system and the second time I tried this.
Any suggestions? Thank you for your time!
My system Specs are:
- Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3 Motherboard (UEFI BIOS)
- Geforce GTX 670
- 16GB DDR3 Ram
- 120GB SSD
- Intel 3570k
- ML 10.8.2
