I've been lurking the forums for a while trying to get a strong base on how to edit DSDT's and patch them for full functionality but I'm stuck. I know that my motherboard is not supported officially, but I've been able to run Lion and update (through software update) for a long time now with only minor issues.
My specs are:
Intel i7-2700k 3.5 GHz Processor
EVGA P67 SLI Motherboard (ALC889 Audio)
16 GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM
2x EVGA GTX 560 2GB video cards (purchased at BestBuy) NON Fermi cards
TP-Link PCIe Gigabit Network Adapter (Model TG-3468)
I have the App Store and iCloud working and this may or may not be of some help to people but I got it to work by using Realtek's Gigabit Ethernet 2.0.6 under Network Kext's in multibeast rather than using Lnx2Mac's Realtek driver. I was using Lnx2Mac's Realtek driver for the longest time without being able to get iCloud working, and the fix was using an alternate drive (I had tried everything imaginable in these forums).
So onto my main issue:
Currently to get audio, period, I am using a USB adapter that came with my Plantronics GameCom 777 headset. I'd like to get onboard audio working but have tried everything and am at a standstill.
I've attached my DSDT that's been slightly edited only to get rid of errors, warnings, and remarks. My DSDT (to me) is UNREADABLE! I have no idea where to edit the sound entry because I can't follow anything thats going on with the machine language used. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
On another note... I have 2 graphics cards and 3 monitors working, however, while both cards should have 2048 MB of VRAM.... In my System Information one card is listed as being 2048MB and the other is listed as only 1 MB of VRAM. I'll attach a photo of that as well.
If I've left anything out thats necessary for me to get some help, let me know! Thank you guys!
