Edimax 7811un yosemite

Have this dongle working on Yosemite/El Capitan but connection will drop after about 20mins or so and have to unplug/replug in the adapter..... anyone experiencing this and if so, know of any fixes ?

THis is where i downloaded it from.... im starting to think it may be related to the Constant messages I am receiving in the attached

Any ideas anyone ?

Im running on a Lenovo Helix if that makes any difference.

Ignore my previous post.... have upgraded to 10.11.4 again and followed the official driver package rather than https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oh2WHeB9ji8 !! Touch wood no drop outs as of yet.

EDIT : I spoke too soon .... still dropping out every 20 mins or so

I just upgraded to 10.11.3, and am not having any luck with my edimax 7811. I downloaded the latest driver, and tried Pacifist to install and no luck. The application isn't even showing up, and in "system preferences"-> "network" it says that 802.11 is disconnected.

I had it running fine on 10.8, but can't get it to work on 10.11. Any help is great appreciated! Or if anyone knows of a 802.11AC unit that worked on their 10.11 build, I'd be happy to upgrade.
